Deanne Tes Wiggill lives in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Born in 1968, Deanne attended school in Johannesburg.
In 1987, she completed her teaching and performance certificate in contemporary dance and went on to attend the University of the Witwatersrand to study Fine Art, during which time she travelled to Canada, Hawaii and Tonga.

In 1992, Deanne moved to Cape Town, where she painted fine art and murals extensively. She had her first solo art exhibition in her home in Gardens in 1993, after which she travelled and worked in England, Israel, Egypt and Cyprus.

In 2006, Deanne located to South Korea to work as an English teacher and on her return, moved to Johannesburg in 2011 to study Foundation phase education at UNISA.

After teaching foundation phase education for ten years and travelling to England, China, Tibet, Argentina and Chile, Deanne has dedicated herself to exploring her artistic objectives full-time.
